Work your way through each of the four Experiments below.

They are designed so that you can spend as little or as much time as you’d like on each – this might be five minutes or twenty-five minutes. It’s completely up to you.

You can do them all in one go or try them one at a time, over the next few days.

There’s no right or wrong way to do this.

We invite you to complete the activities in a notebook or on paper using whatever tools are accessible to you. There is no expectation that you share your writing, drawing and reflections publicly with us, though there will be an opportunity for you to send us examples of your writing and drawing, if you would like to do that.

Experiment 1

Experiment 2

What’s your story?

Experiment 3

Dialogues

Experiment 4

Taking Action

A note on keeping yourself safe when working with emotions

As you work through the Experiments, notice how you’re feeling. Try to cultivate a sense of curiosity and kindness to that act of noticing: That’s interesting, that I’m thinking about that? I wonder what would happen if I wrote about or drew this feeling?

Sometimes this kind of reflection might surface strong or surprising emotions, which can feel uncomfortable or even upsetting. It’s important that you don’t push through these difficult emotions. If it feels too difficult, please stop and consider talking to a trusted friend or professional about how you’re feeling.

When you’ve finished, please click the button below, which will take you to a short survey where we’ll ask you some questions about how you got on. This is really important as it will help us to find out if the Experiments are useful to people.

Thank you!
